Observation makes life more interesting…I had hot water in a bottle, mixed it with cold water. Bottled the cap and tilted it… My eyes!!!!! I could see the fluid mixing… felt surprised before continuing with my work

I am in Coimbatore today, for the consecutive weekend. Last week it was one day in CBE and one day in my native for a festival. This time it is threeeeee full days!!! My aunt’s new bundle of joy Ramya baby is doing a full time night duty J…Just 28 days old, she is spreading joy and enthusiasm in our family. I had a sumptuous meal, of course prepared by my mother with the most important ingredient…love. Sleep seeped in after the meal. Later in the evening we went for a shopping.
Anthem, a very short, yet thought provoking novel was the last one read by me. The Anthem is composed of thoughts from Ayn Rand. She speaks of a man who broke all laws of the land he lived in, a land of collective thoughts where he aspires to be of his own… The man goes about exploring nature and things that give him much pleasure than working for a collective society as a street sweeper. He meets his woman in his very own same land of collective thoughts. He flees to exercise his freedom and his woman ‘The Golden One’ follows him. Rand emphasizes on the importance of the feeling of ‘I, Me Myself’. People would call this as selfishness but without exercising this feeling, a human being would be just a boring person, not the one who would stand apart from the crowd.

Last sunday, we cleaned our house... A tiring job indeed. Later I went to BDA complex here, had a Pav Bhaji, suddenly my mind wanted to see more colours and enjoy more festivity. I stopped, turned back and started walking towards Jayanagar 4th block. A walk more than two kilometers, the effort seem like a grain of sand comapred to the joy experienced then. I called upon my old friend Syed Ibrahim who lived nearby that area. He was on the way to that place from Shivaji Nagar... A distance that would take 45 mins by a BMTC bus. How to kill time then? I went inside Music World and started browsing some classical collection od CDs, finally I bought a violin concerto written by L.Subramanyam. A blend of evergreen memories and thoughts filled us when Syed and myself met. After an hour or so, post dinner I walked home with a memory video switched on... :)
I am reading 'Freakonomics', a book that digs into the roots of our society and economics to unravel the wide range of fraud that take place right from the school level to nation level.
The author believes that any one in this world can lie, but numbers can't... :)
