Everyday commute to office, we cross a 10 meter bridge constructed across a sewer canal. The bridge submerged in water last friday due to heavy rains in Bangalore. The water had gone more than a meter above the bridge.
More scary was the flooding of a small canal in our campus. The entire food court was sorrounded by water and the scene was terrific. This reminded me of the mighty Brahmaputra flooding every year in Nazira, Asssam
